We are a short 15 minute public bus ride from the local bus terminal, 10 minutes from the international terminal, and 30 minutes from the international airport.
Pocitos is one of Montevideo’s most well known neighborhoods. It runs along the coastline of the Plata River, where freshwater and salt water begin to mix and small waves keep the water clear and mild.
More and more, Pocitos is transforming into its own micro-center, with banks, shops, and office buildings moving central offices into the neighborhood. It is also becoming increasingly know for its restaurant scene, with a wide variety of ethnic foods- from tapas to Indian to Mexican- and quality grills and pizza parlors offering tasty local fare. Aside from the variety of independent shops, Pocitos is also home to two large shopping malls with brand name stores from all over the world. With close to 70 thousand inhabitants, Pocitos is the most densely populated neighborhood in Montevideo.
